THE ROLEAs our Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal stock demand forecasting and inventory flow across channels. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with Merchandising, Production, Retail, and Logistics teams. You’ll manage inventory forecasting, reporting, and planning tools, and help drive efficiency and availability. Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Edinburgh or London. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from our beautiful Townhouse in Edinburgh City Centre or our London City Centre location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDemand ForecastingDevelop, maintain, and improve rolling demand forecasts for all product categories using historical data, sales trends, and market intelligence.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to capture upcoming promotions, product launches, and market shifts.Build channel-specific forecasts (e-commerce, DTC retail, and wholesale) to ensure alignment with business objectives.Inventory & Supply PlanningBalance inventory levels across global warehouses and channels to meet Sale targets and minimise excess stock.Monitor sell-through performance and proactively recommend replenishment or reallocation strategies.Partner with Production and Logistics teams to communicate forecast changes and adjust purchase orders accordingly.Data Analysis & ReportingProvide weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, stock coverage, sell-through rates, and slow-moving items.Analyse variance between forecast and actual sales to continuously refine planning models.Present key insights and recommendations to senior managers.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Store managers to identity areas of opportunity meeting specific customer needs.Partner with Merchandising to align forecasts with revenue and margin goals.Support Warehouse and Logistic teams with capacity and fulfilment planning.Process ImprovementContribute to the development and enhancement of demand planning systems, tools, and KPIs.Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved visibility across the supply chain.
