At Knix, we are building a world-class People Team, and we’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and deeply embedded People Operations Business Partner to support the growth and success of our HQ teams. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and key partner to leaders, driving People strategies, programs, and initiatives that elevate our employee experience and align with business objectives.
As a Business Partner, you will be integrated into your client group’s day-to-day operations and long-term planning. You will navigate all moments of the employee lifecycle; from hiring and onboarding, to performance coaching, employee relations, talent development, and offboarding. You will exercise professional judgment and operate with of autonomy, managing full cases end-to-end while maintaining a people-first, solutions-oriented approach.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners to foster engaged, high-performing teams. You will also work hand-in-hand with our Workplace Experience Specialist to support DEI, culture, and employee engagement initiatives that help shape and elevate the Knix employee experience.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership Coaching
Partner with your client group, building a deep understanding of team dynamics, business goals, and organizational challengesProvide HR coaching, guidance, and thought leadership on talent planning, workforce planning, and organizational design to support scalable, future-ready structures
Full Employee Lifecycle Ownership
Support hiring managers through onboarding frameworks, ensuring a seamless, engaging experience for all new hiresManage employee relations matters end-to-end with autonomy, including intake, investigation, documentation, recommendations, and resolution, including overseeing leaves of absence, disability management, and accommodationsGuide leaders through performance management cycles, coaching, development planning, and succession strategies
Talent Development, Performance & Culture
Collaborate with leaders to identify talent gaps, growth opportunities, and strategic development pathwaysPartner with the Workplace Experience Specialist to design and support DEI, culture, and employee engagement initiatives that foster belonging and connection
HR Operations, Programs & Continuous Improvement
Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, or opportunities, and provide strategic recommendationsSupport and deploy strategic People initiatives and programs across the organizationLead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that optimize processes, elevate the employee experience, and support a scaling businessWork closely with other People Team members to ensure cross-functional alignment and delivery of key HR programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a combination of education and relevant experience. CHRP/CHRL designation is an assetMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner supporting HQ teams (Digital, eCommerce, Social, etc.) and working directly with senior leadersStrong knowledge of both U.S. and Canadian employment laws is a significant assetDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into strategic People initiatives that create measurable impactExperience managing complex ER cases with autonomy and sound judgmentProven track record of coaching leaders, enhancing team engagement, and supporting high-performance cultures
