About the Role: We’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our professional presence within the skincare and beauty industry. You will be responsible for identifying strategic partnerships, increasing brand distribution, and developing new business opportunities through coaching and developing a Business Development team.
Responsibilities:Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the skincare, wellness and beauty sectors, including single estheticians, spas, salons and other wholesale partnerships.Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.Team Leadership: Closely monitor the performance of the Business Development team to ensure KPIs are met, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging skincare innovations to inform strategy.Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure go-to-market strategies, product launches and promotional campaigns support business development goals.Reporting: Track and analyze business performance metrics; prepare regular reports and forecasts; present in meetings as required.Enablement: Utilize CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage leads, track pipelines, and analyze customer data. Implement tools for lead generation, order processing, and follow-ups.
Who You Are:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnership development or channel growth — preferably within the beauty, skincare, personal care, or grooming industries.Proven track record of building and scaling wholesale partnerships and managing complex channels and teams.Comfort with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external partners.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.Passion for skincare, body care, grooming or related personal care segments, and alignment with Bushbalm’s mission and brand ethos.Willingness to travel as needed to support partner meetings, product launches and trade events.
