You will be responsible for strengthen various digital marketing platform to resolve essential issue of our clients, business product teams, while also having both a technical and business perspective, and working with the development teams to maximize platform value. Product Lead for the digital marketing platform such as In-house Ad Distribution Platform, DMP, Tracking, Reporting and Data Sync.
Rakuten Ichiba is a top e-commerce service in Japan and one of the largest advertisers in the world. In this position, you will be responsible for working with the marketing team and business product teams to develop digital marketing initiatives to contribute to Rakuten Ichiba's growth, devising the technical solutions and working with each development teams to drive the platform development.
Responsibilities
Define the product vision/mission and strategy. Also, define product roadmap and leading it. Analyze and identify essential business issues for customers and sales/product teams, and reflect the right solutions into platform to resolve issues. Understand business requirements, goals and KPIs and collaborate with multiple technical teams inside and outside Rakuten to lead platform development to meet business requirements. Work closely with multiple stakeholders on the business side with different knowledge and backgrounds to identify the functional requirements for the marketing platform. Investigate the cutting-edge ad technology, industry trends and volatile business environment. Partner with a program manager and delivery managers in prioritization and planning for solution development (backlog management). Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organizational and cross-border teams to integrate with internal and external systems, platforms, and services. Drive or participate in technology vendor discussions, evaluations, and selections. Manage product level budget and cost.
Mandatory Qualifications
3+ years of experience in developing, planning or definition of system requirements related systems for digital advertising while communicating directly with clients or business side stakeholders Experience in web (or App) application development (Programming, System design) Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholder Experience in leading multiple product as product manager Proactive self-starter with self-motivated mind Strong get-things-done mind with a sense of ownership Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability 5+ years of experience in IT industry including system development or product planning/Sales experience
