What You'll Do
We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven Associate Director, Ecommerce Merchandising to lead the strategic merchandising and digital product lifecycle across our DTC channel. This role bridges the art and science of merchandising—balancing business goals with brand storytelling, product development insights, and site execution to drive conversion, AOV, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for shaping the digital merchandising vision across soldejaneiro.com, partnering closely with cross-functional teams in Global Product Marketing, Marketing, and Creative.
The position will report to Director, DTC.
What You'll Be Working On
Site Ownership:Lead orchestrated strategy of digital store through merchandising, content, user experience, testing, technical infrastructure and operations to drive additional traffic and salesHighlight and follow through on top site priorities and technology, product, & testing roadmapsOversight of all site tasks including promotions, site content updates, merchandising and product setup ensuring that functionality meets and exceeds company expectationsMaintain site ADA compliance and ensure updated standards are met by technology partners and communicated out to internal stakeholdersAnalyze site performance metrics and trends alongside Customer Relationship Director and deliver relevant product performance and consumer behavior insightsCommunicate key updates (site, product, promotional) to Operations and Customer Service teamsAd hoc reporting and analysis where support is required to support insight
Product Merchandising
Initiate and maintain communication of product sales data, product trends, and inventory information to cross-functional partnersOwn and report out on product mix of business performance vs targets and provide action plans necessary to change, improve and optimize product performance on Ecommerce site with oversight from Director, DTCWork closely with DTC, Inventory, & Forecasting teams on the item-level sales and buying plans for all categories and new products to ensure how they roll up to the channel's top line financial targetsWork in close partnership with larger Americas and Product Marketing teams to inform the DTC marketing calendar with a focus on digital growth initiatives, including but not limited to product exclusives, promotional products, and launch timingIdentify whitespace opportunities through customer data, sales trends, and competitive analysis to inform future product development Work with Global Consumer Engagement, Global Product Marketing, and Ecomm Creative teams to receive promotional, product launch and marketing communication calendars for all site needs and experiences, overseeing the briefs to the Creative & Copy teams directly for site assets
Must Haves
7+ years of experience in ecommerce, Beauty or wellness experience preferred; 2-3 years of team leadershipStrong understanding of DTC best practices, ecommerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, ContentSquare, etc.)Strong communicator with the ability to present strategic ideas holistically across all levels and functionsProven success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentChampion of new ideas and deep sense of curiosityCollaborative and solution-oriented mindsetStrong project management, analytical and presentation skills
Nice to have:
Experience working with DTC-first brands transitioning from high-growth to maturity phaseA strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to translate brand voice and storytelling into on-site merchandising.Background in subscription models, bundling strategies, or other DTC merchandising innovations.Passion for clean beauty, body positivity, and inclusive wellness—with a finger on the pulse of cultural trends that matter to our community
Salary Range
$150,000—$165,000 USD
