E-Commerce Operations & Systems Manager

We are seeking an E-Commerce Operations & Systems Manager with deep experience in DTC order flows, ERP/WMS integrations, API connections, and operational troubleshooting. This person will own the health of the systems that power our e-commerce business—ensuring orders, inventory, and product data move accurately and efficiently across platforms. Ideal candidates are systems thinkers who can trace issues across multiple platforms, diagnose order flow failures, and implement long-term, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Order Flow Monitoring & Troubleshooting Manage and monitor the full DTC order flow across platforms (e.g., Shopify, ERP, WMS, and any integration layers of middleware). Monitor real-time system alerts and order flow dashboards to catch and resolve issues before they impact fulfillment. Perform daily reconciliations comparing what entered Shopify, what flowed into the ERP, what reached the WMS, and what ultimately shipped Systems & Data Integrity Maintain data integrity between Shopify, the ERP and the WMS – resolving discrepancies in order, inventory, or customer information. Partner with technical teams or integration providers to address system logic, data mapping, and API-related issues. Support ERP/WMS workflows that underpin inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and financial reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with DTC/e-commerce, finance, and 3PL partners to support launches, promotions, and ongoing business needs. Serve as the operational expert for how orders and data move through the ecosystem, providing guidance and best practices. Process Improvement & Root-Cause Resolution Identify system bottlenecks and recurring pain points; drive root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions. Recommend and implement efficiencies, automation opportunities, and stronger process controls. Maintain and refine SOPs related to order management, product setup, and system flows. Reporting & KPI Tracking Build and maintain reports or dashboards that monitor order flow, API exceptions, fulfillment KPIs, and data sync accuracy. Use insights to proactively flag risks and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital operations, order management, or ERP/WMS systems management. Hands-on experience with Shopify or another major e-commerce platform. Strong understanding of API data flows, system mapping, and order-to-cash processes. Experience working with ERPs (any platform), order management systems, and 3PL/WMS partners. Analytical mindset with the ability to build reports, track KPIs, and identify process improvements. Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple systems simultaneously. Bonus Points:Experience with marketplaces (Amazon, TikTok Shop, etc.). Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar reporting tools.
