Who You Are
You’re a natural motivator with a strong sense of style and a passion for eyewear. You’re equally comfortable leading on the sales floor and managing the details behind the scenes. You thrive in a boutique environment where collaboration, creativity, and accountability drive success. You have optical sales experience — and if you’re a Licensed Optician, that’s a big plus.
What You’ll Do
Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Optical Stylists and sales associatesLead by example in delivering SEE’s signature styling and personalized customer experienceConduct daily team huddles to share goals, priorities, and updatesStep into the Store Manager role when needed to ensure seamless operationsDrive sales and client loyalty through exceptional service and stylingExecute sales strategies, in-store promotions, and local marketing initiativesMaintain SEE’s high visual merchandising and store presentation standardsOversee operational tasks including but not limited to inventory control, cash handling, and opening/closing proceduresCoordinate with the in-store optometrist for patient scheduling and smooth retail/optical integrationSupport insurance verification, recordkeeping, and compliance with company policiesWork between Glendale and Beverly Center locations as neededMonitor for loss prevention issues and enforce safety standardsWeekend availability required
What You Bring
2+ years of retail leadership experience preferredOptical sales experience preferredLicensed California Optician is a plusProven ability to drive sales and support team growthExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with POS systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft OfficeFlexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in both Glendale and Beverly Center locationsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
