About the Role
"Role Overview:As a Retention Marketing Executive at The Sleep Company, you will analyze content performance across retention channels and identify what resonates with key customer segments. You will craft and optimize high-performing messaging that drives engagement, store visits, and revenue across WhatsApp, Email, SMS, Notifications, Chatbots, and Web Personalization. A core part of your role is conducting deep data analysis to uncover trends, segment behavior, and channel performance - using these insights to refine targeting, improve campaign efficiency, and build impactful customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities:Content Analysis: Analyze past campaign content and performance to identify insights and improve future campaigns.Retention Copy & Creatives: Assist in preparing retention-focused copy and creative assets.Monthly Content Calendar: Help plan and maintain the monthly retention content calendar.Vendor Purchase Order: Support the process of creating and managing POs with vendorA/B Testing: Execute A/B tests on messaging and content to optimize campaign effectiveness.Collaboration with Content Team: Work closely with content creators and copywriters to develop campaign-aligned messaging.Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze customer behavior and campaign data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing retention campaigns across Email, SMS, Notifications, WhatsApp, Chatbots, and Website channels.Customer Segmentation: Support segmentation analysis and help design personalized campaigns and communications for different customer groups.Daily BAU & Journey Reporting: Track daily campaign performance and prepare journey-specific reports.Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign performance metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, ROI, and revenue attribution; provide actionable insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with internal stakeholders.Customer Focus: Passion for understanding customer behavior and enhancing the customer experience.Ownership & Result Orientation: Proactive, responsible, and accountable for campaign execution and outcomes.Fast-paced Environment: Comfortable working in a dynamic, startup-like environment
Preferred Experience:2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, growth, or sales-related roles within a consumer brand or consumer tech company, preferably with exposure to retention marketing or customer lifecycle campaigns.Familiarity with CRM tools like WebEngage, MoEngage, Clevertap, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools."
