"Overview:As a Graphic Designer at Greenhouse, you'll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across packaging, digital, and in-store channels. From marketing campaigns to product innovation, you'll create engaging, on-brand visuals that connect with our customers and support our mission to offer widespread, sustainable access to plant-based nutrition and wellness of the highest quality. You’ll manage multiple projects, collaborate across teams, and ensure consistency and excellence at every touchpoint.
Key Performance Outcomes:Brand Consistency: Ensure adherence to Greenhouse’s visual identity guidelines across all design projects.Project Timeliness: Deliver projects on time and on briefPrint Quality: Maintain accuracy in print production through effective vendor management and proofingProcess Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in the design workflow.
Statement of Work & Responsibilities:Design and Production:Design a broad range of digital and print assets, including product packaging, promotional materials, in-store visuals, and website elements.Ensure all creative assets align with brand standards and marketing objectives.Design intuitive and visually appealing web graphics and UI solutions to enhance the customer experience.
Collaboration and Project Management:Work closely with marketing, sales, innovation, regulatory compliance, and senior leadership to develop creative solutions that meet brand objectivesManage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining creative and strategic integrity.Present and communicate design rationale clearly to internal and external partners.Actively participate in internal review meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop compelling and innovative designs.
Creative Execution and Innovation:Stay current with design trends and technologies, applying innovative ideas to keep Greenhouse’s visual branding fresh and engaging.Develop and establish new standards within brand guidelines to best showcase the Greenhouse brand.Build, manage, and grow an asset library and design toolboxes to streamline workflows.
Production and Vendor Management:Demonstrate experience in managing printing partners, with an in-depth understanding of production processes and different print techniques.Ensure printed materials maintain high-quality standards and meet compliance guidelines.Oversee the execution of designs with external agencies, printers, and internal resources.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:Proactively seek solutions to design challenges and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.Help create efficiencies in workflows and improve internal creative processes.
Skills & Qualifications:Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional design experience, with a robust portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital and print media.Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and UI/UX tools as an asset.Print Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing printing partnerships and an in-depth understanding of production processes and print techniques.Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills.Project Management: Proven ability to manage external agencies and internal resources, ensuring the seamless execution of creative projects.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design concepts while being receptive to feedback.Strategic Thinking: Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to guide design execution aligned with business objectives.Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to creative challenges.
