As a key contributor to the finance function, you’ll play a central role in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support across the organization. We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Calgary, Alberta, where our Home Office is located. What Will You Be Doing? Leading the development of the annual budget, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Building and maintaining long-term financial forecasts, incorporating business trends, strategic initiatives, and market dynamics.Conducting monthly and quarterly business reviews, analyzing performance against plan and identifying key drivers of variance.Partnering with business leaders to develop data-driven business cases that support investment decisions and operational initiatives.Enhancing and automating complex Excel-based financial models, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.Designing and optimizing data flows that support reporting and analytics, leveraging Power BI and Power Automate to streamline processes and improve data accessibility.Extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from source systems and financial platforms such as NetSuite and OneStream, ensuring data integrity and consistency across reporting.Automating financial reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloadPerforming variance analysis, identifying trends and key drivers of financial performance across 400+ locations and a manufacturing facilityIntegrating financial and operational data to uncover insights that drive cost reduction, revenue optimization, and profitability improvementsCollaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to analyze profitability improvementsIdentifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and provide actionable recommendationsPerforming monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis and executive summariesAd hoc financial analysis and deep dives to support senior leadership initiatives As The Successful Candidate You Have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related fieldProfessional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA) 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate financeExperience with EPM applications (OneStream, Hyperion, etc.) BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)Strong data manipulation skills, including Excel (Power Query)Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to set and achieve goals based on alignment with business objectivesAbility to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines in an environment with a high volume of activity, while being detailed, organized and thoroughAbility to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindsetAbility to build positive relationships and fosters company cultureBilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset How You'll Benefit working at our Home Office:  A comprehensive total rewards package, including two free pairs of glasses and lenses per year A coaching culture that fosters ongoing growth and development opportunities A people-first culture, (but dogs are also welcome) An organization that gives back locally and nationally, and supports you in doing so as well Why You Should Join Us FYihealth group is Canada's leading diversified healthcare organization comprised of FYidoctors, Visique, BonLook, and solis optics.
