We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and careAssisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experienceSupporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floorAccurately receipting of goods into our operating systemAssembly of furniture with pride and attention to detailResponsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirementsMaintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouseTo collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment. Skills and Experiences: Who are we Looking for? Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution.Good Computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)A passion to help people and a desire to get resultsThe physical capability to handle our productsExcellent communication skillsReliable, committed, proactive and driven with a can-do attitude.As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes.
