About the Role
"At BARFER’S Wellfood, we develop and produce premium dog and cat food based on the BARF principle (Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding).
In our own Berlin-based manufactory, we create over 280 products, which we sell through our online shop, eight stores in Berlin, Potsdam, and Hamburg, as well as through selected B2B partners.
We are revolutionizing the pet food industry – our mission is to ensure that every dog and cat is fed in a species-appropriate way!
Tasks
Build and maintain clean marketing datasets in our modern stack (Airbyte, dbt, BigQuery)
Develop and manage tracking setups, including Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and other marketing platforms
Create automated dashboards and reports (Metabase, BigQuery, GA4, Looker Studio) to track performance and KPIs
Translate business questions from Marketing into data requirements and insights
Support advanced analytics projects such as attribution modeling, cohort/retention analysis, and A/B testing
Ensure data quality and consistency across marketing pipelines and tracking setups
Act as a bridge between Marketing and Data sparring partner on one side, hands-on implementer on the other
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Marketing Analytics (junior to mid-level profiles welcome)
Solid SQL skills; first experience with dbt or similar transformation tools is a plus
Familiarity with GTM, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and Shopify
First experience in tracking setups and GTM implementation (event tracking, e-commerce setup, testing, data layer)
Comfortable creating dashboards and reports (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
Analytical mindset: you love turning data into actionable insights
Bonus: basic Python knowledge and an interest in marketing data science
German is a tiny plus
