We directly engage with Rakuten Group, one of Japan's leading advertisers, and major EC and FinTech companies, taking charge of proposing and operating performance advertising that contributes to marketing ROI improvement and sales growth. This position is within the \"New Client Sales\" department of the Rakuten Marketing Japan Department / LinkShare Japan Business. We conduct proposals to major domestic corporations, and also collaborate with other Rakuten Group businesses to make proposals to companies, national governments, and local municipalities in the Americas and Europe. Our main proposed services include: \"Affiliate Advertising (our own ASP), Influencer Advertising (our own service), Search Engine Marketing (Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft), and Display/Video Advertising (Meta, LINE, X, TTD, Tver, etc.).\" Leveraging Rakuten data and Rakuten media, along with exclusive partner strategies with global AI tech companies, provides an environment where unique proposals can be made. Position Why We Hire We are recruiting new team members as we aim to strengthen new client sales activities to develop the \"advertising\" business into the fourth pillar of the Rakuten Group. Position Details We conduct new proposal activities to major domestic corporations, and also engage with companies in the Americas/Europe, as well as national and local governments, in collaboration with other Rakuten Group businesses. Work Environment Organizational Structure The new business development department consists of less than 10 members, comprising both new Rakuten graduates and mid-career hires.
